Named after the beautiful white flower Magnolia is...
-
Very affectionate
-
Nuzzler
-
Calm
-
Quiet
-
Gentle soul
-
Great companion
-
Docile
-
Easy to take care of
-
Gets along well with other dogs and is not alpha but being the only dog would make her happiest where she can be the center of your love
-
Initially timid of new people
-
Has not been seen to play with other dogs in her foster home---she's oriented towards the people she loves
-
Crate trained and is quiet in her crate
-
Knows "sit"
-
Okay with being alone but of course would prefer to be with her family if given the choice
-
Treat motivated
-
Will not eat plain kibble for dinner
-
Loves to lie behind her foster mom on her chair with her as she works on the computer
-
Walks great on a leash with no pulling
-
Rides great in the car
-
Magnolia would thrive in a quiet home and one with not a lot of new people coming & going
-
Has not been with cats under our care so we don't know how she is with them but based on her personality and breed we think she'd be fine
-
Lives in a home with a Cockatoo, Amazon and a cockatiel and doesn't pay attention to any of them when they're nearby
-
We do not know her breed mix for sure. The shelter we got her from said she was a Maltipoo/Spaniel mix but we do not see any Maltipoo in her since her coat isn't curly. She is white like a Maltese, although she has a orange spot on her side and dashes of orange in her ears. She also doesn't have the curly tail of a Maltese but instead a docked tail. Her coat is silky soft and she does not require regular grooming. Her ears in their fluffiness resemble more a Spaniel's. We do not believe she's hypoallergenic but she may be low shedding. Regardless, she's beautiful inside and out.
-
Housetrained. Can hold her bladder 8 hours overnight when left out in her foster's family room.
