Jasmine

Jasmine is as delicate and sweet as the flower she was named for. She's also:
-
A lapdog
-
Docile
-
Cuddly
-
Gets along well with other dogs and plays with some
-
Has velvety soft hair which makes her even more relaxing to pet
-
Knows how to use a doggie door
-
Non-shedding so she's a good choice for people who don't want fur on their furniture but she does require regular grooming. We groomed her Christmas Eve.
-
Would do best in a quiet home without a lot of people coming and going
-
Velcro dog with her foster mom but fearful of her foster dad so a home with just women would be better for her
-
Because Jasmine is initially timid with women and fearful of men we're recommending an adult only home and an experienced adopter
-
Recently housetrained by her foster by using the crate training method. Adopters should be prepared to take her out frequently at first and she may not yet know how to ask to go out.
-
Hasn't been with cats while under our care so we don't know how she is with them but we believe she'd be okay
-
Lives in a foster home with parrots and doesn't pay attention to them.
-
Miniature Poodle/Maltese mix
-
Spayed female
-
Up-to-date on vaccinations
-
Microchipped
-
13.8 lbs
-
1 year old (estimated age by the shelter we rescued her from)
-
No known health issues
-
Adopters must reside in San Diego County
-
All medical and other paperwork provided to adopter
