Biscotti

Biscotti the Bichon Frise/Miniature Poodle is:
-
Very affectionate, loves belly rubs, and loves attention. He adores his foster mom and enjoys sitting in her lap being rubbed
-
Loves stuffed toys
-
Gets along fine with dogs of all sizes
-
Loyal companion
-
Cuddly
-
Shy with strangers
-
Does better with women than men. Sometimes he barks at men. Therefore, female household preferred although not required.
-
Housetrained and uses a doggie door to go potty. Since he uses a doggie door to go potty we don't know if he'll ask to go out so adopters should be prepared to take him out frequently at first.
-
Can be playful
-
Timid of new people and because he's timid would do best in a home without small children and not best for the first time dog owner
-
Would do best in a quiet home without a lot of people coming and going
-
Hypoallergenic - good choice for people who don't want fur on their furniture but Biscotti does require regular grooming
-
Has the short legs, long body, and curly tail of a Bichon but the long snout and apricot coloring of a Miniature Poodle
-
Biscotti has not been in a home with cats while under our care but based on his personality we believe he'd be fine with them
-
Lives in a foster home with parrots and doesn't pay attention to them
-
No known health issues
-
2 years old
-
Neutered male
-
Optimally should weigh 14 lbs but weighs about 4 lbs more
-
Vaccinated
-
Microchipped
-
Adopters must live in San Diego County
