Biscotti the Bichon Frise/Miniature Poodle is:

  • Very affectionate, loves belly rubs, and loves attention.  He adores his foster mom and enjoys sitting in her lap being rubbed

  • Loves stuffed toys

  • Gets along fine with dogs of all sizes

  • Loyal companion

  • Cuddly

  • Shy with strangers

  • Does better with women than men.  Sometimes he barks at men.  Therefore, female household preferred although not required.

  • Housetrained and uses a doggie door to go potty.  Since he uses a doggie door to go potty we don't know if he'll ask to go out so adopters should be prepared to take him out frequently at first.

  • Can be playful

  • Timid of new people and because he's timid would do best in a home without small children and not best for the first time dog owner

  • Would do best in a quiet home without a lot of people coming and going

  • Hypoallergenic - good choice for people who don't want fur on their furniture but Biscotti does require regular grooming

  • Has the short legs, long body, and curly tail of a Bichon but the long snout and apricot coloring of a Miniature Poodle

  • Biscotti has not been in a home with cats while under our care but based on his personality we believe he'd be fine with them

  • Lives in a foster home with parrots and doesn't pay attention to them

  • No known health issues

  • 2 years old

  • Neutered male

  • Optimally should weigh 14 lbs but weighs about 4  lbs more

  •  Vaccinated

  • Microchipped

  • Adopters must live in San Diego County

  • All medical records provided to adopter

Biscotti's adoption fee is $250.
